The red rocks of Capitol Reef mountains are lit by the last rays of the sun. It was cloundy for most part of the evening, but I got lucky at the end as the sun broke through the clouds for a few minutes before setting.

Mt. Henry glows at sunset at the Grand Staircase-Escalante NM. The entire area had experienced a snow storm earlier in the day. The clear skies and wind made for cold conditions, but added a colorful backdrop for a wonderful scene. I spent over an hour capturing the scene in ever-changing light.
